Adoption Policy

I recommend that you have your Pet altered by 6-8mos of age to avoid unwanted pregnancies, males marking furniture etc.
In order to insure one of our puppies and/or Dogs do Not end up in a shelter you Must contact me in the event that you cannot keep your pet or are no longer able to care for it. So I can assist you in placing the pet.
Please remember to contact me if I can help you find/provide a loving home if you are no longer able to care for it. Only about 1% of animals that end up in shelters actually ever see a loving family again as most are euthanized. Let's work together to insure this never happens to one of my babies.
In the event you have to give up your rights to your pet, it must be returned here by appointment. I do not buy back puppies or adopted pets! But will make arrangements to return any additional money over and above expenses reasonable incurred while the puppy is awaiting to be rehomed if the adoption fee exceeds expenses. Puppies only. Adult dogs or non registered pets or rescues will not receive any of the adoption fees as it is minimal.
You also agree to keep all vaccinations and preventatives up to date with regular Vet visits. This insures you a happy tail waggin' time with your healthy family pet.
I want to continue our relationship and help you in any way to make your new family member happy healthy and comfortable. As we both want only the best for them.
Please see other policies on registration, preventatives written health guarantee.
Do your research on a specific breed. Make sure it is the right one for your family before adopting. An average life span for a medium size dog is 12-14yrs. It is a big responsibility and a longtime commitment.
I've had many people call and try to get me to "bend" my rules, please know I'm only interested in the very best possible home for one of my babies. It's not just a dog, it's a family member. Please be advised, I don't bend rules.
I do not Haggle or Negotiate prices. My prices are very fair for the quality care that they've been given. You wouldnt want someone trying to negotiate price on your hard work.
Thank you, Kat

Sincerely,
Kat
